July Event for Kaisou
Dominant Element: Water
Waning Element: Fire
Full Moon: July 2-4th
July comes to Kaisou and brings with two things: heat and rain, leaving the city a humid mess. Time to get dehumidifiers and make sure your AC works because otherwise, you might just end up melting. [CHECK FOR A SPIRIT REALM EFFECT OUTSIDE OF THE RAIN AND STUFF] With water being the dominant element this month, everyone aligned with water will find themselves energized despite the oppressive humidity. Those aligned with fire, however, might find themselves utterly washed out.
A Pro Con
KaiCon, Kaisou's local anime con, is back in town! Traditionally held in June, they postponed it a month thanks to the tornado. Held July 14th to the 16th, the convention brings in a ton of tourists both in and out of cosplay. For once, those app users with odd changes or body parts won't stand out so bad!
Even without the convention, Kaisou is a fairly popular in the summer since it sits right on a lake. There's a big fireworks show on the 4th and plenty of other things to do around the town to try and beat the heat. Assuming, of course, these events don't get washed out.
Crystal Raaaaaaain
So. That ain't good. If someone goes out in the rain for too long they'll kinda start turning into rock candy. (Note to self: Ask if those without spiritual readings just feel really tired and don't realize things are kind of going crystal-y.) Drying off will reverse the effects but like. That ain't good????
